Job Summary :
- We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Sales professional to join our team. He/She will assist in driving sales initiatives, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual with excellent leadership skills, a strong sales background, and the ability to motivate and guide a team to success. As an Assistant/Deputy Sales Manager, you will contribute to the growth and profitability of the organization by supporting the sales team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving revenue.
Responsibilities :
- Support the Sales Manager in planning, implementing, and monitoring sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Assist in the development and execution of sales plans, including setting sales goals, targets, and quotas for the team.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
- Monitor sales activities, analyze sales data, and generate reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Evaluate sales performance, provide feedback and coaching to team members to improve their skills and performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and challenges.
What would your day job involve ?
- Client Acquisition & Management Work on new client acquisitions and background work on potential client development and on- boarding
- Connect with existing clients for new purchasing requisitions and get a fair amount of payments expected and fund flows.
- Work on product or category development of product basket at existing customer end.
- Work with the procurement department to ensure a better bottom line of business for repeat cycle orders.
- Collaborate across departments : Ensure smoother order execution
Requirements :
- Engineering Degree in any field . BTech in Mechanical or Metallurgy domain is preferred
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a Manufacturing company.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using sales CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
