Our Story :
Noon - The Social Learning Platform is one of the fastest-growing EdTech startups across the MENA and SEA region. In 2013, we started our journey as a simple test preparation website. Seven years later, after thousands of data-driven experiments, Noon has transformed into a versatile, comprehensive online learning platform with over 12 million registered students. Our open platform incorporates social and gamification features that enable students to have an engaging, collaborative learning experience with teachers and fellow students through study groups, peer-to-peer learning, and contests.
As of June 2020, we raised a Pre-B fund of $13 million; We aim to bring together 50 million students and tutors from around the world by 2023.
We are currently live in India and we are building the A-team to work on various problem statements across functions.
Job Description - Sales Lead
Note: This is a contract-based role for 6 months. Based on the candidates' performance they will be converted as full-time employees.
Responsibilities :
- You will be conducting daily standups, motivating the team, addressing team's concerns & set daily expectations and help the team achieve the same.
- You will be the chief owner of sales excellence and ensure training & quality of the Sales team.
- You will be the primary person for ensuring day-to-day sales operational activities - lead cleaning, maintaining a healthy sales funnel, fine tuning the sales pitch & guiding the team to successful sales closures.
- You will be responsible for meeting sales targets and delivering healthy & ethical growth.
- You will be responsible for maintaining the Zoho CRM & publishing reports for all sales activities.
- You will be expected to assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches and other documents as required.
- You will help scale the team from 0 to 1 as business grows while maintaining the highest quality.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, teachers and students.
Requirements :
- Proven working experience in B2C Sales, Business Development or a relevant role.
- Proficiency in Zoho (or any other CRM Software), MS Office/Google Sheet
- Strong experience with team handling & growth.
- Fluent in English & Hindi.
- Communication and negotiation skills.
- Time management and planning skills
- Preferably with K-12 & Test Prep Ed-tech experience.
