Role Overview :
- The Territory Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in managing the financial and accounting operations of societies and residential complexes within the assigned territory.
- This position involves interfacing with society management teams, ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing of payments, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Management :
- Maintain and update society accounting records, including expenses, income, and budgets.
- Generate and deliver monthly financial statements to society management.
- Oversee the reconciliation of bank accounts and payment gateways.
Client Interaction :
- Act as a point of contact for society management committees regarding financial matters.
- Address and resolve queries related to accounts and transactions promptly.
Payment Processing
- Ensure timely collection and disbursement of funds, including maintenance fees and vendor payments.
- Oversee payment schedules and ensure compliance with established guidelines.
Reporting and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local accounting and financial regulations.
- Prepare audit-ready documentation for societies as required.
Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations and support, to deliver a seamless experience for clients.
- Assist in onboarding new societies to the platform by setting up financial processes.
Qualifications & Skills :
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience: 2+ years in an accounting or financial management role.
- Experience in society or community management accounting is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Familiarity with online payment platforms and ERP systems.
Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
