NMIMS - Area Manager - Sales (10-12 yrs)
Job Purpose :
This position is a mix of tactical role that is responsible for revenue from assigned area. This role involves a high degree of outreach and relationship building that will be utilized to create revenue-generating opportunities. This position will work closely with Regional manager & Zonal Head & responsible for developing assigned area to grow and maximize new business, grow revenue & profitability of the region.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales & Revenue Management :
- Drive revenue targets for assigned geographies.
- Create strategies to meet sales and revenue goals for the allocated Learning Centers
- Work with the TM's to coordinate with partners to create and ensure the execution of business plans to meet sales goals.
- Drive AEPs for new business/student acquisition
- Evaluate & identify both struggling and successful sales partners and explore ways to improve on sales metrics
- Drive re-registration of students and fee collection
Channel Management & Business Development :
- Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities.
- Engage, manage and drive AEP owners
- Aid AEP's in engaging with corporates for Business Development
- Building brand awareness in the assigned geographical area.
Operations & Process implementation :
- Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to evaluate sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensures AEP compliance with AEP agreements & implementation of University policies in the field.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Responsible for Sales process execution & implementation.
Team Management :
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and guidance to the sales team to enhance their performance and professional development.
- Set clear sales targets, track individual and team progress, and take corrective actions when necessary.
Collaboration and Communication :
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and achieve overall business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, team members, clients, and partners.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective promotional campaigns, materials, and strategies to generate leads and drive sales.
Requirements- Skills & Competencies :
- Aggressive, self-driven personality with excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the EdTech industry or a related field.
- Ability to understand the market and drive results for the assigned geography.
- Ability to multitask and work in a team setup.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well with minimal supervision
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Requirements - Education & Work experience :
- Preferred to have Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience of 10 to 12 years of work experience in sales and channel management, preferably from Education/ Training, BFSI, Real estate, Telecom, Retail or consumer goods & services, new age industries
- Exposure to Distance/Online Education sector will be added advantage.
