Job Purpose :
The counselor for Post graduate program at our NICMAR Hyderabad will play a crucial role in supporting the professional development and well-being of individuals enrolled in our Institution. It entails a combination of overall development, educational guidance, career counseling and conducting workshops on career development.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities :
- Provide information about Post graduate program in management programs, curriculum details, and program requirements
- Assist participants in understanding the potential benefits and outcomes of the program for their career development
- Guide individuals in choosing appropriate courses or specializations based on their career goals and skills
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to assess participant's career aspirations, strengths, and areas for improvement
- Offer advise on career paths and opportunities aligned with the participant's professional objectives
- Clarify expectations and responsibilities to help participants navigate the program successfully
- Regularly check in with participants to monitor their academic progress and address any concerns or issues
- Facilitate networking opportunities for participants to connect with peers, industry professionals, and alumni
- Organize events or workshops that enhance participant's networking skills and promote long term relationships with professional community
Other Delegations :
- Accept any other related delegations and responsibilities as entrusted by relevant authorities

Candidate Requirement :
- Master's degree in counseling, education, or related field
- Relevant experience in career counseling, preferably in executive education or professional development
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and executive education trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
