Develop and implement the e-commerce strategy, including pricing, product assortment, customer acquisition, retention, and digital marketing initiatives.
Continuously analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to refine e-commerce strategies.
Lead and manage the e-commerce team, including marketing, web development, and customer service teams.
- Provide mentorship, training, and performance management to direct reports.
- Oversee the design, usability, functionality, and performance of the e-commerce website and mobile app.
- Ensure a seamless, user-friendly shopping experience that drives conversion and maximizes average order value.
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and grow sales. This includes SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, affiliate programs, and influencer partnerships.
- Manage paid media budgets, track ROI, and optimize campaigns for performance.
- Use data analytics tools to monitor e-commerce KPIs, such as conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, sales performance, and customer lifetime value.
- Regularly report on e-commerce performance, present key insights to senior leadership, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure an exceptional online shopping experience, including order fulfillment, customer service, and after-sales support.
- Implement customer retention initiatives, including loyalty programs and personalized marketing.
- Manage the e-commerce budget, track expenses, and ensure that sales targets and financial goals are met.
- Work with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure the e-commerce platform is stocked with the right products and offerings.
- Work with IT and development teams to improve website functionality, security, and integration with other business systems.
