Neptunus - Senior Role/Assistant Manager - Sales - Oil & Gas Vertical (5-10 yrs)

Whats the purpose of this role?
- This role will be able to build and grow Machine Reliability (Spares service, ARM), and enable Neptunus to become one-stop technology solution provider in a growing market.
- Our MR Business is in the following Areas Oil and Gas, Offshore. The Sales Personnel will be accountable to extend our foothold in the following Sectors / Segments for our MR Business like Upstream (Offshore, drilling), downstream (Refineries), Midstream (Suppliers- Special attention on Gas Piping and Gas Compression insights) .
- Identify Business Opportunities and propose a Business Plan to his reporting Manager where we could possibly venture out into.

Key Results (What will I be accountable for?
1) Achieve 5 Cr of Sales for our products and Services.
2) Add 2 new customers in Middle East + 4 new customers in India.
3) Get 4 rigs with alpha monitoring contract & Get 25 oil management installations
4) Offering: Niigata and Caterpillar Solutions, Condition based maintenance, predictive maintenance and oil management solutions.
5) Territory: Focus on West, South and East India; Middle-East
Activities (What will I do?)
Account Development :
- Prospect warm leads received from Marketing to identify pain and decision makers
- Visit Customers, Make technical presentations about Neptunus solutions
- Handle objections and drive negotiations
- Close sales to add new accounts
- Customer Relationship Management
- Manage and Engage Accounts
- Grow accounts through upselling and cross selling.
- Ensure timely collections to ensure a payment cycle of < 45 days. .
Key Results (What will I be accountable for?)
1) Drive Customer Delight to 4.5 out of 5 across all Customers.
Activities (What will I do?)
- Provide technical responses to queries, provide solutions based on Customer pains.
- Liaise with other members of the sales team and other engineering service, Operations team member and be the face for the Customer.

- Maintain Customer Data in CRM software and create projections
- Create Prospect List of Customers
- Provide inputs on strategy to Marketing Team based on on-ground inputs
Knowledge/Skills/Behaviours :
Knowledge (Functional and Non-Technical) :
- 10+ years of experience in sales: prospecting, need creation, follow up, closing sales, account development and customer relationship management.
- 3+ years of experience in working on any of the following engineering solutions / Industries or technologies for technical users (customers). Engg Solutions like transformers, DG Sets, pumps, turbines, Offshore, refineries, Worked on Marine Engines, Power Plants, Rotating Equipments Sales, Fertilizers, Gas Piping Petrochemicals, Refineries Equipment Sales, (Worked in Gensets, Rotating Equipments (Motors, Gearbox, Compressors, Pumps)
- Track Record of adding 2-3 NEW Customers OR 1 cr from new Customers per year over the past 2 years OR handled annual business of 3+ cr
- Experience with using CRM software(s)
Skills (Functional and Non-Technical) :
- Fluent in English. Can write a 4 page grammatically correct report independently.
- Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas, make presentations in English
