What will you do as a part of the team?
- Get aligned to an industry category - F&B, Travel, Activities or Beauty/Wellness
- Identify, prospect and consult with local businesses in the above categories
- Create and propose leads by identifying new businesses to be featured on nearbuy's platform, expanding the range of offers for our consumers
- Partner with City Manager and Merchants to curate compelling offers for our consumers
- Present nearbuy.com as the unique opportunity for businesses to acquire new customers
- Work closely with City Manager and follow up on critical leads
- Achieve sales targets
- Liaise with on-boarding team to ensure smooth and pleasant merchant on-boarding
- Refine sales messaging, prospecting, qualifying, and closing techniques as required
About you :
- Energetic and Gritty, with a 'roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes' Attitude
Persuasive - you are known for your convincing skills and will excel at motivating potential partners to see the benefits the partnership will bring to their business
- Self-monitored and competitive, able to work with minimal supervision while achieving targets and goals
- Open to feedback
- Curious an a Go-getter
- Adaptable, persistent, and able to thrive in ambiguity - things change quickly in our fast-paced startup and you- ll need to be able to keep up!
Requirements :
- Graduates with 0 - 1 yr of experience in sales/BD
- Prior Ecommerce/F&B/Hospitality/Travel background is a plus
- Network of contacts in the relevant sector is a definite bonus
- Compensation 25 - 30 k per month + travel Allowance + incentives basis target achievement + benefits
