Role - National Sales Manager/Regional Sales Manager
Location - Delhi
Position Overview :
The National Sales Manager/Regional Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets for a company within a specific geographic region or across national territories. This position involves leading and managing a team of sales professionals, developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives, and building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy Development : Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives, including revenue targets, market share growth, and customer acquisition.
Team Leadership : Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and training to drive performance and ensure alignment with company goals.
Market Analysis : Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive threats, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and distributors, understanding their needs and providing solutions to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting : Forecast sales targets and prepare regular sales reports, performance metrics, and sales forecasts for management review, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Product Knowledge : Develop a deep understanding of the company's products or services and effectively communicate their value proposition to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Budget Management : Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment and achieve desired sales outcomes.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives and priorities.
Key Requirements :
Proven Sales Leadership : Demonstrated success in leading and managing sales teams, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Industry Experience : Strong knowledge of the industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, with previous experience in a similar role preferred.
Strategic Thinking : Ability to think strategically and develop innovative sales strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and address challenges.
Communication and Negotiation Skills : Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Analytical Skills : Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.
