National Sales Manager - Pathology (10-15 yrs)
The National Sales Manager will oversee and drive the sales strategy on a national level, ensuring the company's growth and market penetration. This leadership role involves managing a team of regional sales managers and representatives, developing comprehensive sales plans, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. The
ideal candidate will have extensive experience in medical device sales, particularly within the market, and a proven track record of leading and motivating sales teams to achieve outstanding results.
Job Description NSM - Pathology:
1. Sales Strategy Development and Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve national sales targets for the pathology division. Identify new business opportunities and markets for pathological products and services.
2. Team Leadership and Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a national sales team, including regional sales managers and sales representatives.Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including hospitals, laboratories, and medicalinstitutions. Address and resolve any customer issues or concerns promptly.
4. Market Analysis and Reporting:
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to senior management.
5. Training and Development:
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the sales skills and product knowledge of the sales team.Ensure the sales team is up to date with the latest product developments and industry regulations.
6. Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies.
Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback from the market and customers.
7. Clinical And Product Knowledge:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of competitive market, their clinical applications, and benefits.
- Ensure the sales team is well-trained on product knowledge and can effectively communicate this to customers. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and new product developments.
8. Reporting And Administration:
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and outcomes.
- Oversee the use of CRM systems to manage customer interactions and sales processes.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- B.Sc./ MBA
- 10-20 Years of Pathology Experience.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the healthcare industry, preferably in pathology or diagnostic services.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high performing teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in the healthcare industry.
