National Sales Head/Chief Sales & Marketing Officer - IT (12-14 yrs)
Job Brief: We are looking for an experienced Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO) to build and manage a sales organization and number of channel partners. As a key member of the senior leadership team, this position will be responsible for driving exponential growth in a rapidly growing IT enabled HR Services domain. The successful candidate must be an energetic executive who can work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment and has experience with consultative sales.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage a market leading social brand through innovative social buzz as well as traditional marketing strategies to drive mass brand awareness resulting in a high volume of lead generation and sales activity
- Develop and manage sales and marketing team which includes Sales Operations, Marketing, Channel Partnerships, Business Development Managers, Account Managers, Lead Generation Managers, RFP/RFI Managers and others
- Develop, implement and manage a highly disciplined approach to managing the sales process (e.g. requiring meeting notes and sales reports from all members of the sales team, a follow-up process) to ensure that opportunities are maximized
- Set and achieve clear actionable targets for direct reports and the national sales staff (e.g. X% close rate on all new business for the sales team, Y no. of meetings per month and closure target of additional new business for each team member of Sales Operations)
- Develop and maximize channel partner relationships, referral partnerships and coordinate with the Chief Financial Officer to manage the contract and legal requirements
- Develop, implement and manage prospecting and pitching process to mid to large size accounts by leverage existing relationships with CXOs
- Develop and manage integrated sales strategy for broad set offerings across digital and social media
- Actively engage in networking conferences and trade shows to stay current on trends in the marketplace
- Develop, actively manage and drive the sales pipeline for new and existing business
- Develop strategies to cross-sell/up-sell to existing accounts and also open new accounts
- Develop and manage the seamless process of taking new accounts to the Operations Team as well as supervise same for some time for ensuring success
- Develop training and sales documentation to ensure consistency
- Actively collaborate with the sales team to develop pitches and proposals
- Develop and oversee a world class RFI/RPF process
- Develop competitive intelligence capability and full competitive landscape
- Coordinates with CHRO/HR Department to recruit skilled talent and retain the best employees

Qualifications, requirement, and skills :
- Graduation in Commerce/Science and MBA from Premier Institution with HR and Sales/Marketing specialization, Minimum 12 years of Industry Knowledge in IT enabled HR Services domain with reputed organizations and proven track record of success in such leadership positions with consultative style
- Strong Customer Orientation as well as Interpersonal and Listening Skills, Proficiency with CRM applications, IT and ITES knowledge in HR Services domain, Social Media and Advertising, Critical Thinking, Presentation Skills, Product Knowledge, Leadership, Time Management, Public Speaking, Oral and written Communication skills, Business Development and Strategic Planning
- Demonstrated success in closing large marque accounts
- Possess a high level of energy, excitement, and enthusiasm. A team driven orientation is critical
- Business maturity and excellent management skills including the ability to coach, motivate, lead and inspire
