Pre-Sales Analyst


Job Description:

The Pre-sales Analyst will be responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business, and achieving/assisting in meeting opportunity-based sales quota. The Inside Sales Representative will be expected to conduct research for identifying leads and approach prospective business clients through telephone, email, webinar and in person. This individual will also actively participate in the planning and execution of the company's marketing activities providing vital inputs received during their interaction with prospects.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Develop sales opportunities through research and identifying potential clients.

- Initiate communication with prospective leads to commence sales process.

- Collaborate with internal team members to devise appropriate strategic sales approach.

- Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects.

- Ensure follow-up by passing leads to appropriate team members with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.

- Set-up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations and other sales actions.

- Support marketing efforts by providing vital inputs based on interactions with prospects.

- Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell.

- Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales.

- Successfully resolve objections raised by prospective customers.

- Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database.

- Attend periodic sales training where applicable.

- Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position to clients.

Key Skills :

- University or college degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Finance or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

- 2 to 4 years of direct work experience in sales or telesales capacity.

- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects, close deals and achieve sales quotas.

- Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development and time management.

- Strong problem identification and objections resolution skills.

- Able to build and maintain lasting associations with customers.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication along with good presentation skills.

- Candidate should be fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi.

- Should be a good listener

- Self-starter, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.

- Aptitude to perform basic mental calculations and understanding mathematical figures will be an added advantage.

- Ability to work individually and as a part of a team.

- High level of integrity and work ethics are expected.
