myLearn - Marketing Specialist (2-10 yrs)

We are looking for a young professional to join our Marketing team. We're looking for people who are incredibly hungry, passionate, smart, fun to help us achieve our vision. The candidate should have a passion for online education and learning, familiarity with digital marketing and new media, and should be a great team player.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are self-driven, independent and take initiative.

Job Summary :

This position will be responsible for all of myLearn's marketing as it relates to our user acquisition and growth. This will include but is not limited to developing new inbound marketing channels and opportunities, digital marketing, affiliate marketing. Content and inbound marketing typically drive a tremendous amount of user acquisition for us.

Responsibilities :

Drive digital marketing strategy : Design and execute brand activation and engagement campaigns across the user funnel via multiple channels including advertising (online + print), PR, social, webinars, and more;

Inbound and outbound campaign development : Execute email campaigns (customer acquisition, drip and nurture), and content marketing.

- Manage all social media properties and the product website

- Responsible for the continued success and growth of the email/CRM channel;

- Analyze and optimize conversion funnels and sign-up rates for all online marketing efforts. Use data and analytics, to measure, learn and grow.


- Adopt growth hacks and strategies successfully used by other startups & e-commerce brands; poach best-practices and creative tactics.

- Work with the design team to produce campaign creatives and manage creative pipelines and Manage vendors (digital agency, SEO agency, affiliates).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

- Excited about joining a team of passionate individuals trying to solve real problems

- Superb written communication and copywriting skills (you should have a sharp eye for headlines and marketing copy)

- Knowledge of digital media and be at the forefront of trends in digital marketing

- Highly creative thinker, Strong sense of design

- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail (you will need to manage campaigns, tight deadlines, work with different stakeholders and deliver)

- Hands-on experience with digital marketing, online/e-commerce growth and user acquisition tools, including web analytics, email marketing, search marketing, social media, as well as conversion marketing

- Experience with key online marketing tools to get the most out of online marketing tools like Facebook Advertising and Insights, Google Adwords, heat map tools, Omni-channel marketing technologies

- Experience with Marketing Technologies such as Marketing Automation, Email marketing tools (Mailchimp), building landing pages

- Experience with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Other), A/B and multivariate testing, and Multi-channel (online and offline) attribution and testing

- Experience with website behaviour and customer experience analysis, coordinating tags, tracking parameter implementations

- Mid-level expertise in the SEM (Search Engine Marketing) / PPC (Pay Per Click) and a minimum one-year experience measure success of SEM/PPC and A passion for online education and/or consumer internet products

Credentials and Experience :

- Graduate or post graduate in any stream; a degree in Marketing, Math, Economics, Computer Science is highly preferred;

- 2-4 years of digital marketing experience at a consumer internet company or startup and Strong analytical capabilities with experience making data-driven marketing decisions.
