MyGlamm - Copywriter (2-5 yrs)
Job Description
Tweak is looking for a senior digital writer and copy editor with 5-6 years of experience across writing, interviews, video scripting and editing. The candidate should possess strong communication skills, and have an excellent command of the English language.
The candidate should be efficient, collaborative and dynamic, able to think on their feet and come up with creative solutions. They should be camera-friendly and open to featuring in Youtube and Instagram reels. The candidate should be open to feedback and growth, accept constructive criticism and take ownership of their responsibilities at work.
Roles and responsibilities :
- Work closely with the Editor and other team members to ideate and execute editorial content across print, video, social media and events.
- Copy-edit articles, scripts and other written pieces.
- Support the marketing team with ideas and execution.
- Contribute to IP creation and execution.
- Coordinate with PR to execute ideas
- Coordinate with larger GMC group on collaborative projects
- Demonstrate an understanding of different tones of voice and messaging.
- Demonstrate strong research and critical thinking skills.
- Help evolve copywriting practices, define processes and convert briefs to clear copy.
- Execute tasks keeping work quality in mind while adhering to set timelines.
- Learn and grow based on shared resources and feedback.
- Take a proactive role and contribute to the team in terms of ideation and suggestions.
- Be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and present work in a clear and compelling manner.
Qualifications :
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in English, media and communication, advertising or - similar fields.
- 5-6 years of experience working in publishing
- Storytelling skills & the ability to convert briefs into clear copy
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Diverse portfolio of writing work is a plus.
