MyFitFuel - Content Writer/Editor & Strategist (0-1 yrs)

Content Editing
- Manage web copy email requests
- Review and edit content provided by creative writers
- Re-write the published articles as per Search engine standard.
- Ensure content compliance with editorial guidelines
- Perform quality assurance checks on published content
- Work with other team like SEO, Product marketing.
- Maintain the Key performance indicators.
- Clear understanding of how Brand tone should be communicated and monitoring every piece of content that gets published through different marketing channels
Content Strategy
- Define and guide a content strategy
- Develop, maintain, and enforce web writing style guidelines
- Define the content workflow for projects
- Assign and track new content development (content matrix)
- Consistently review content, identifying sections that need a greater depth of material; Develop and enforce content creation, maintenance, and archiving policies
- Work closely with information architects/designers to create an information architecture that enhances customer experience and best showcases content.
- Assess, catalog, and organize content (content inventory); Develops and maintains the content inventory to document page-level information including URLs, keywords, page titles, copy notes, etc.
- Analyzes site usage statistics to maximize information delivery and enhance usability of content
Content Marketing
- Determine strategy, content plan, and success metrics. Ensure a steady stream of high-quality content and continually increase views and conversions
- Implement content marketing editorial calendar for content marketing initiatives
- Leverage various forms of marketing collateral such as white papers, datasheets, case studies, and more to drive integrated content marketing campaigns
- Map out a content marketing strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, both short- and long-term
- Propose creation of new content, or re-purposing of existing content, that tie to content marketing initiatives
- Work with owners of particular content to revise and measure particular content and marketing goals
- Identify relevant issues and/or events in the industry and makes recommendations for creating and promoting relevant content in a timely fashion.
- Augment social media presence by pushing out stories that are topical, well-structured, proof-read and press-ready.
- Should be able to understand the target customer's persona, needs and problems etc.
Skills and Experience Requirement
- Experience: 6 month to 1 years of writing
- Resourceful, Entrepreneurial, Fun, Committed
- Willing to work for a startup.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, precise and engaging copies.
- Grammar Nazi. Proofreading skills coupled with analytical bend of mind.
- Thorough understanding of web accessibility, usability and acquaintance with good practices in web content development.
- Understanding of online user behavior.
- Work on tight deadline.
- Social media presence a plus.
