MyDermacy - Category Manager (2-4 yrs)
JOB DESCRIPTION
LOCATION: GURGAON
YOUR ROLE:
The Category Manager must be able to Act as the business owner for his or her categories, have a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments
Maximize MyDermacy's long-term business profitability Have a complete understanding of the customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to deliver site features that provide customers with an unparalleled experience
Manage vendor relationships - manage supplier/partner contracts, manage day-to-day relationships, and negotiate and secure marketing funds Create business plans for new opportunities and develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies
Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting tight deadlines
Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets
Responsible for overall profitability of the product category
Segmenting customer base on the basis of browsing / consultation behavior, and design effective 'reach-out' programs for them, in the form of Promotions, ATL/BTL/Digital marketing, Platform merchandizing etc.
Ownership of driving traffic to the platform and boosting the conversion rates for the product category.
Design and Execution of relevant category projects, with an objective to improve experience of the customer
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- 2-4 Years of relevant work experience
- Should be creative in product development with the existing product range
- Experience in a tech focused setup sales; distribution and channel management
- Analytical skills and usage in business scenarios
- Team management; Ability to conceptualise and execute quickly; Managing in unstructured environments
