Regional Manager - Online Merchant Acquisition
Job brief :
- We are looking for a high-performing Regional Manager who will focus on driving MobiKwik users and building the brand in the country. He/she must be a people person focused on driving key people to garner results.
- You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential in the defined geography and execute sales plans.
Responsibilities :
- Setting up & leading the team to reach merchant Acquisition targets and goals
- Develop and drive sales & service efficiencies
- Ensuring effective deployments, training and farming of merchants acquired
- Developing sales people by coaching, motivation and product & market knowledge
- Influence and negotiate with customers both internally and externally and at all levels
- Work in the field with each team member to achieve effective coverage of key accounts; maintain high level of customer rapport and reinforce company's commitment to superior customer services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all levels of customers to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct market mapping through knowledge of competitor's structure, culture, manpower, distribution, capabilities and weakness, as well as thorough knowledge of customer's support and preferences for competitive products and services
- Ramp-up customer acquisition whilst ensuring adherence to quality and other regulatory norms.
- Merchant acquisition for online to offline payment through QR code payment option.
- Drive usage of retail outlets through proper training, revisit, merchandising & conducting BTL activities
- Recruiting and handling a team of ASM, TSM & FOS
- Engage channel through sales incentives/ schemes to drive brand preference.
- Drive channel profitability, focus on channel churn management.
- Scope for potential distribution/channel alliances to further distribution expansion in targeted geographies.
- Onboard teams with relevant experience and skill sets and maintain pipeline of quality resources.
- Manage P&L, people performance, career aspirations/progression.
- Deliver and exceed on defined business KPIs for geography.
Requirements :
- Proven work experience of 8-10 years as a Regional Manager, or similar senior sales role.

- Fluent communication and ability to manage situations on the ground
- Should have managed larger teams on ground
- Focused and possess sales mindset
- Team Leader with objective approach towards goal setting and monitoring
