Mitron - A series funded startup in short video making app developed by two friends turned co-founders Shivank Agarwal and Anish Khandelwal, Mitron clocked over five million downloads on Google Play Store within a month. Built over the last few months by the duo, the app quickly rose to fame.

Hailed as India's answer to Chinese company ByteDance-owned TikTok, Mitron's popularity could mainly be a result of recent controversies around 'objectionable content' on the former. Millions of Indians were uninstalling TikTok, and chose Mitron instead.

We are excited to be adding an App Store Optimization Manager to our dynamic team!

In this position, you will be developing an App Store Optimization (ASO) strategy to ensure key MitronTV appear at the top of search results in all applicable App stores.

Your objective will be to support organic downloads and our user acquisition strategy by being an ASO guidelines expert on Key app stores.

Job Description:

- You will be the person who will maintain a good relationship with Google, Apple store team.

- You will be responsible for App Store Optimization - Google and Apple.

- You will manage OEM Partnership - Samsung, Redmi, Distribution Partnership - Paytm, Jio Store.manage App Store Optimization for Mitron TV, which includes :

- Analyze performance of MitronTV on the app stores platforms

- Setup an ASO strategy to optimize and improve page conversion rates

- Work with external agencies and internal stakeholders to gain insights and identify areas for improvement

- Provide guidelines and recommendations to teams on how to maximize discover ability and conversion rates based on analytics

- Follow the impact (downloads and revenue) of the optimizations implemented for our products

- Develop and update the company's App Store Optimization strategy and guidelines.

- Develop an expertise regarding key App Store specificities and make sure these criteria are being efficiently implemented.

Qualifications:

Must have/Nice to have:

- Excellent analytical skills

- A good understanding of the Online digital market

- Ability to communicate across a number of levels and be able to influence development and marketing teams

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and lead them through to implementation

- Ability to work under your own initiative

- Experience working in the mobile space

- Experience with SEO, ASO appreciated

- Experience of online gaming is desirable but not essential.
