MIT World Peace University - Copywriter (1-3 yrs)
- Write clear, compelling copy for various mediums (e.g. videos, emailers, ad copy, blog posts, newsletters, website content, social media, etc).
- Research and produce trending, viral, and engaging copy.
- Adept at writing long-form content and articles.
- Optimise social media copy (brand language, tonality, message) based on our target audience's behaviour.
- Draft concept notes and copy for social campaigns
- Ideate and visualise creatively.
- Think out of the box.
- Select appealing media assets to complement the copy
- Update our social media pages with compelling company news.
- Coordinate with internal teams to create advertising posts (e.g. for events, open roles and new program releases).
- Write high-engagement social media content that reflects our brand's voice and messaging.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop a variety of content marketing materials.
- Produce error-free content that adheres to the company's style guidelines.
- Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts.
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines.
- Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to seniors.
- Track and maintain report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates).
- Apply advertising techniques to boost brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
- Respond to questions and comments on our social media pages in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work closely with the internal team to understand requirements.
- Proactive and positive attitude.

- Forward thinker with the ability to catch on to trends and stay relevant.
Qualification and Skill Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience in marketing or communications is highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in managing a business social media presence preferred.
- Experience in producing copy for digital, print and broadcast channels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Communicator and Outlook.
- Exceptional skill with the nuances of content writing for online and offline media, including the use of hashtags, emojis and acronyms.
- Solid understanding of SEO concepts preferred.
