Lead Content & Communication
- We have an opportunity for Lead - Content & Communication. Below are the role details :
- The Lead - Content & Communication role oversees all marketing content initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive engagement, retention, leads and positive customer behavior. The candidate should be an expert in all things related to content and channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation and localization, analytics, and meaningful measurement.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Manage the entire content portfolio of stock across paid, organic, digital forms of communication through a team and self.
- Create a content strategy for the Brand which would be consumed across multiple channels in various formats.
- Own the entire content outflow with a view to ensure sync of brand philosophy and tonality across touch points.
- Hire and build teams across multiple content formats to ensure that the brand can internalize entire content strategy to itself.
- Work to build a client facing digital content strategy to ensure content becomes a window for the Brand to engage with the clients.
- Monitor and drive communication strategies for the clients and prospects for the wide range of products on offer by the Brand.
Qualifications and Education Requirement :
- Bachelor's degree in English Literature, communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field. MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
Work Experience :
- 8+ years of experience in writing and reviewing content preferably from the financial sector
Skills :
- Strong understanding of digital and social platforms, and their use within marketing.
- Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio and experience in blog posts, articles, video script, emails and social content.
- Familiarity with retail broking, understanding the voice of the financial sector is preferred.
- Proactively using multiple sources, internal and external to gather information required to complete marketing collateral.
- Proven editorial skills. Outstanding command of the English (or primary customer) language
- Good communication skills and time management skills, including prioritization, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
- Clear articulation of the business goal behind the creation of a piece (or series) of content
- Leadership skills required to define and manage a set of goals involving diverse contributors and content types
- Team Management skills to lead a team.
- Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines within corporate and ongoing campaigns.
