Manager - National Sales 


Core Responsibilities : 

- Establish reasonable sales goals for a particular company based on current market trends

- Identify shortcomings in a marketing plan and makes adjustments as needed

- Recognizes top performers for their contributions to the company

- Promote proven leaders to management or supervisory positions

- Prepare sales forecasts on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis, and yearly basis

- Analyzes sales data in order to identify the strengths and weakness of a particular promotion

- Oversees the budget for the company's sales force

- Develop policies and procedures as they relate to sales

- Network with potential customers and business partners in an effort to promote certain products

- Approves large contracts in coordination with the Management

- Makes presentations showing current sales figures to shareholders, business partners, and corporate executives

- National Sales

- Set sales targets for regional and national sales teams, often using past sales statistics.

- Develop the Sales Strategy for the next 3 years

- Develop and execute Go - To - Market Strategy

- Manage and monitor the Sales and Product life cycle of various products

- Plan product launch and relaunch nationally

- They also motivate individuals and teams to reach goals, using reports that document sales projections, actual revenue, and other metrics.

- Working with the collections department to review accounts, client payments, and credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms.

- Generating reports and statements for internal use.

- Engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge.

- Directly handle large accounts or major clients, so having excellent customer service skills can help them grow those relationships.

- Create New Sales Channel

People Management :

- Lead regional managers and individual salespeople.

- Recruit, hire and train new sales professionals

- Manage the onboarding process, such as orientation in coordination with HR

- Monitor Sales Team performance and Offering strategies for improving sales performance

- Monitoring Daily and Monthly performance review

- Working with various stakeholders to improve process, controls & analysis

Supply and Demand : 

- Continuously track and record sales trends and other related data to improve supply and demand strategies and maximize profits.

- Supply and demand often drive both sales strategies and revenue.

- When supply is higher than demand, propose innovative ideas and establish tactics like discount codes or lower prices to increase demand

Marketing and Branding :

- Work closely with advertising and marketing professionals to improve sales promotions, methods, and campaigns.

- Provide historical sales data and forecasted estimates to support and partner with the branding team to create effective advertising and marketing strategies.

- Review the success of a competitor's advertising and marketing campaign as competitor analysis.
