Job Summary:

As a Tele Counsellor in the education industry, your primary responsibility will be to engage with prospective students over the phone or through digital platforms to provide guidance and information about educational programs offered by our institution. You will play a crucial role in assisting students in making informed decisions about their academic and career paths.

Key Responsibilities :

Ethics : Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in counselling practices.

Student Engagement : Initiate outbound calls to prospective students who have shown interest in educational programs.

Information Dissemination : Provide accurate and detailed information about courses, admission requirements, fees, and any other relevant details.

Counselling and Guidance : Understand the needs and aspirations of students to guide them towards suitable educational options.

Handling Queries : Address queries related to admissions, curriculum, faculty, infrastructure, etc., effectively.

Lead Conversion : Follow up with leads through calls, emails, and other communication channels to convert them into enrolled students.

Database Management : Maintain records of all interactions and update the CRM system with accurate information.

Collaboration : Coordinate with academic departments, marketing teams, and admissions office to ensure seamless information flow and process adherence.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in any field (Education background preferred).

- Previous experience in tele counselling, customer service, or sales roles is advantageous.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to empathize with students, understand their concerns, and provide solutions.

- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other communication tools.

- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in counselling practices.
