An ecommerce platform in the healthy food space is hiring for a revenue-facing Category Marketing role in Gurgaon. The startup is backed by a leading VC of India. Prior experience in a Category Marketing role in a Consumer Tech platform/D2C Brand is a must.

Job Description :

We are an early stage online marketplace for healthy food products in India getting quick growth. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Category Marketing Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the product categories, revenue growth and user experience for our platform, with a focus on creating an exceptional user experience that drives sales and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute a category strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and design, to ensure a cohesive and effective category strategy

- Optimize product listings, categories, and navigation to improve search rankings, user engagement, and sales within the categories

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the healthy food categories

- Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to track and measure the success of category initiatives

- Design and implement user-centered product pages, category pages, and other key features of the platform to improve the user experience and drive sales within the categories

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in e-commerce, category management, and UX design

Required Attributes, Academics and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Design, or a related field

- 4+ years of experience in e-commerce or category management, with a focus on healthy food, D2C brands or CPG products

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and measure success

- Passion for healthy food and a commitment to promoting sustainable and ethical food practices
