Asia, ME and Africa Outbound Call (Tele-sales) Specialist
Summary:
Mercer is looking for an outbound call Specialist based in New Delhi who will be part of the regional Indirect Sales team. In this role you will be responsible for planning and conducting various call campaigns to promote Mercer products & services, events and training courses in order to help achieve revenue targets for the region. You will be working closely with the other team members in the Indirect Sales team in order to align projects. You will also be supporting local country consultants with solicitation activities. And you will be responsible for any inbound inquiry (via phone or email).
In order to drive growth we require an experienced individual who will be able to deliver on annual sales targets and proactively generate revenue and opportunities in the region with both existing and prospect clients.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, track and conduct outbound call campaigns in order to promote, solicit and raise awareness about Mercer's Talent product offering in the region.
- Generate, track and follow up on sales leads and opportunities.
- Achieve individual sales targets.
- Analyze purchasing trends and client behaviors in order to identify up-selling opportunities and make recommendations.
- Work closely with the regional Indirect Sales Team based in Singapore, China, South Africa and India as well as with the Global Product Management Team in order to understand Mercer's continuous product offering and align marketing campaigns.
- Conduct solicitation for bespoke and new surveys within the deadlines set by the business.
- Address all incoming client requests, being via email (manage the Indirect Sales team mailbox) or via phone.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor/university graduate
- At least 2 years- experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment with proven successful sales achievements.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills as well as pleasant telephone manner.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Client focused and service minded.
- Target/goal orientated.
- Strong self-starter with good analytical, organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM system (Salesforce.com an advantage).
