Merago - Manager - Sales (6-10 yrs)
- A very hands on role to create and execute the sales department go-to-market and operational strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Participates with other senior managers in developing strategy for the entire company.
- Determines and monitors the department's key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue vs. plan, contact rate, quote closure rate and gross profit percentage.
- Anticipates and reacts quickly to trends and changes in performance.
- Develops and manages sales department budgets.
- Is responsible for sales growth at current customers and new initiatives.
- Is responsible for recruiting and building a global sales organization with larger focus on India and the Asian markets
- Develops multiple sales channels and sales partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Develops annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
- Directly responsible for sales targets and revenues
- Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
- Ensures communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements
- Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis.
- Implements approved distribution strategies.
- Manages multiple channel selling strategies.
- Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
