Memories Unlimited - Associate Digital Marketing Manager (0-2 yrs)

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about social media. We're looking for a data-obsessed self-starter with excellent judgment and communication skills. This position will use data to inform decisions and will collaborate closely with the social/publishing team, the creative team, and the Business Development teams to ensure that our content is being released in the most optimal way across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.
The ideal candidate should also be able to understand and summarize how and why certain post blow up: Where did they take off- What makes them special - Why are they worth sharing.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in developing brand strategies.
- Develops the brand value proposition, assists in branding positioning, and assists in developing the advertising concept, pricing, packaging, and promotion.
- Evaluates all media performance with media providers.
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
- Develop and execute Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and activities aimed at increasing sales opportunities and conversions
- Organize and maintain lead databases
- Proficiency with technologies and infrastructure including content management, web analytics, search engine marketing, email marketing, web site usability, etc
- Partner with our head of Social Media to set and implement social strategy across all the brands social channels
- Share learnings about the audience with internal creative stakeholders + agencies to help them create social-optimised content
- Monitor discussions, posts, and comments across multiple Facebook pages and other social media channels
- Generate ideas for Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, etc.
- Partner with the operations team and the data science team to implement strategies and tests
- Collaborate with creative team to better inform them what works best on what platforms and channels, and why
- Develop and manage the copy writer and be responsible for strategizing and executing all of brands creatives posts
- Oversee and innovate within the production of content native to social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
- Coordinate on brands social media accounts and increase their growth
- Work on business analytics tools to develop and distribute analytical reports about how our audience is engaging with our content on social media
- Find creative ways to adapt brands content and mission to emerging platforms
- Manage marketing mix strategy continuously (spend and placement) for best ROI including search, display, automated campaigns, social/influencer marketing, etc
- Use insights from customer behaviour to define and optimize campaigns
- Manage budget as appropriate
- Good communicator (positioning, messaging and content creation) Create clear, customer-oriented messaging based on value propositions
