Medical Representative
It is currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Accounts Manager (KAM) or Medical Representative Role for our healthcare division. The ideal candidate will possess strong persuasive skills and a competitive spirit to excel in our fast-paced business environment. As the Key Accounts Manager, the individual will be tasked with promoting and selling the company's medications to a diverse group of specialized doctors and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include persuading potential customers to choose our medications, identifying new business opportunities, educating both direct and indirect consumers, increasing product awareness, addressing inquiries, offering expert advice, introducing new products, and relaying valuable customer feedback to relevant departments. This role plays a pivotal part in executing the company's business strategy and driving growth within the healthcare sector
Job Responsibilities :
- Showcase, promote, and sell the company's medications to physicians and relevant healthcare professionals primarily in fields such as pain and palliative care, oncology, and neuropsychiatry
- Schedule and coordinate appointments with doctors, pharmacists, hospital medical teams, and other healthcare professionals, including both pre-arranged appointments and proactive 'cold' calling efforts to promote company medications
- Contribute to the development and execution of the company's business strategy, providing valuable insights and feedback for 360-degree strategy refinement
- Participate in sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions, and symposium circuits to stay informed and engaged with the company's objectives and initiatives
- Regularly attend company meetings, technical data presentations, and briefings to stay up-to-date with the latest medical information provided by the company
- Interpret, present, and discuss the latest medical data with healthcare professionals during presentations, ensuring they are well-informed about the company's products
- Provide competitive intelligence, including bid situations, pricing data, and bundling arrangements, to facilitate negotiated pricing contracts for assigned products
- Gather, analyze, and relay field information to assist the company in developing strategies and products aligned with quality and safety testing standards
Qualification Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or D.Pharm), Sciences (B.Sc.), Business Administration (BBA), or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a sales representative or 1-2 years' experience as an area Business Manager in the pharmaceutical or healthcare products industry (or a similar role)
- Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines, and current medical issues
