Media Planner (3-5 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Initiation & mastering of planning activities
- Competitive data mining & formatting. Creating competitive reports from excel to power point to derive insights from data.
- Working collaboratively with team members to develop and manage integrated media plans across mediums including TV and Print
- Create and maintain media plans, flowcharts, buying guidelines, budget summaries, plan implementation and competitive reports
- Manage the day-to-day implementation, optimization and performance of on-going campaigns. Assist in strategic analysis of campaigns
- Manage day-to-day client interaction
Prior Experience :
- Thorough understanding of the media process, media department and inter- department relationships
- Knowledge and application of media systems, planning concepts (reach, frequency, average OTS, CPRP, GRPs, etc) packages and data bases
- Experience with syndicated software like BARC, IRS, MAP, RAM and TGI
- Constructing media plans to deliver brand campaign objectives
Skills Required :
- Eye for detail | accuracy
- Strong time management and speed of delivery
- Conscientious with the ability to multi-task and work well under tight deadlines
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good communication skills - written and oral
- Demonstrated ability to generate and present well-considered ideas and solutions
- Strong organisational and analytical skills (at manager level)
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field (advertising, marketing, communication)
