Medfin - Assistant Sales Manager (4-6 yrs)
As the Assistant Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales Manager in achieving revenue and profit goals. You will be responsible for assisting with sales team management, customer engagement, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate should be a strong leader, capable of motivating and guiding the sales team, while also demonstrating exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Team Support:
- Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop, implement, and oversee sales strategies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, assisting in their professional development and performance improvement.
- Monitor and report on the progress of sales objectives and KPIs.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Foster strong, lasting relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and resolving any issues or concerns promptly.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling to existing clients.
Sales Planning and Analysis:
- Assist in market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and market trends.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to create and execute effective sales plans and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to make recommendations for improvements.
Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions for sales team members, ensuring they are well-informed about products and sales techniques.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to help team members improve their sales performance.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Assist in the preparation of sales reports, proposals, and presentations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in sales and sales team management.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
