Job Purpose :
As a Bid Coordinator you will be responsible for providing dedicated bids and business development support to the Public and Social Sector (P&S) strategic market team. The role will support the firm's growth strategy by helping to win new work (as well as retain existing key contracts) through the production of high-quality pitch and presentation documents. .
Role & Responsibilities :
- Project manage bid traffic for the P&S strategic market and provide regular reports and analysis.
- Provide insight by preparing pre-tender desk research into bid opportunities.
- Support the production of high-quality pitch documents and presentations, liaising with all parts of the business and co-ordinate pitch team meetings.
- Prepare professional documents in PowerPoint and Microsoft Word in line with the firm's brand and best practice and liaise with the Design & Print team on pitches being produced by them in InDesign.
- Liaise with teams to co-ordinate and collate information, where necessary, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain and manage a library of credentials, case studies and CVs.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience :
- Proven project management skills and experience of managing the development of pitch and presentation documents within a professional services environment is essential.
- An enthusiastic and proactive team player.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Copywriting know-how.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, and strong general IT skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with critical and often tight deadlines.
- Ability to work pro-actively under pressure, with accuracy and focus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as be self-starter / self-motivated.
