Matrimony.com - Manager - Search Engine Optimization (5-9 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for Weddingbazaar.com and Mandap.com, with a focus on driving organic traffic and improving search rankings.
- Oversee the optimization of our mobile apps through SEO techniques to improve visibility and attract organic installs.
- Perform keyword research and analysis to identify relevant and high-performing keywords for both websites and mobile apps.
- Optimize website and app content, including landing pages, blog posts, product pages and metadata, for targeted keywords and improved search visibility.
- Conduct technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website and app issues that may negatively impact search engine rankings.
- Collaborate with the content team to create high-quality, keyword-optimized content that aligns with SEO goals and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze website and app performance metrics, search engine rankings, and user behavior to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and algorithm updates in SEO to ensure Weddingbazaar.com and Mandap.com remain at the forefront of industry changes.
- Generate regular reports on SEO performance, rankings, and key metrics to track progress and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with web developers and app development teams to implement SEO best practices, including site and app speed optimization, mobile optimization, and structured data markup.
- Identify opportunities for link building and outreach to relevant websites and influencers to improve domain authority and organic visibility.
- Keep abreast of competitors' SEO strategies and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage SEO Executives, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback to ensure the team's success in delivering SEO objectives.
Requirements :
- Experience in SEO, preferably in the B2C business.
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficient in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on SEO performance metrics.
- Experience with on-page and off-page optimization techniques, including keyword research, link building, and content optimization.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website development principles.
- Experience in optimizing mobile apps through ASO (App Store Optimization) techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
