Job Description:
We are a young, dynamic and funded startup in the online education space, looking for a senior marketing specialist in Bangalore, India who will report to the Head of Marketing.
Were looking for a strong marketer who can ideate, envision, strategize, build and deliver on marketing objectives. He or she should already have preferably worked in a small company or a startup and understand how to think on their feet and make data-driven decisions. This person will be adept and comfortable in digital marketing and have proven success in brand building in a digital space, and lead generation.
Responsibilities:
- Run brand building focused digital marketing campaigns, managing efforts across direct response channels
- Identify growth & lead generation opportunities across paid channels
- Work closely with the analytics team to perform campaign analysis, generate insights and recommend actionable optimizations
- Day-to-day management of Paid Search, Display, Retargeting and other paid channels including detailed forecasting and budgeting and reporting on the same
- Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
- Monitor digital marketing techniques and strategies used by other startups & e-commerce brands, best-practices and creative tactics specifically in the education domain
- Research & write articles on topics related to analytics & Big Data for Academy's blog, landing page, and website etc. and conducting interviews with students and industry experts
- Work with external writers and the design team to create different types of content - brochures, ebooks, whitepapers, infographics etc.
Required Skills:
- Experience in AdWords, Social Media Lead Generation
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, Lead Management platforms. campaign management, Google Sponsored Promotions etc. and marketing analytics
- Background in online media / eCommerce / online education or digital marketing agency experience would be preferred
- Proven track record in creation and execution of successful digital marketing plans that are creative, engaging, testable, and highly analytical
