Marketing & Communications Specialist (5-7 yrs)

The Marketing & Communications Specialist is a key member of the marketing team, responsible for enhancing the company's brand presence and driving engagement through strategic marketing, compelling content creation, captivating photography, effective public relations, and cohesive branding efforts. This versatile role requires a creative thinker with strong communication skills and a passion for storytelling, both in words and visuals.

Key Responsibilities :

Marketing :

- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote products/services.

- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives using data-driven insights.

- Collaborate with operations and product teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives.

- Conduct market research to identify target audiences, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.

- Manage and optimize digital marketing channels, including social media, email, PPC, and SEO.

- Create and manage budgets for marketing campaigns and track expenditures.

- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners.

- Implement and oversee promotional activities such as events, sponsorships, and partnerships.

- Utilize CRM systems to track customer interactions and measure campaign effectiveness.

- Develop and maintain marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.

- Conduct A/B testing to optimize marketing content and strategies.

- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure innovative marketing approaches.

- Report on marketing KPIs and ROI to stakeholders and recommend improvements.

- Coordinate with the team to ensure consistent messaging and support lead generation efforts.

- Oversee the creation and distribution of newsletters and other customer communications.

- Manage and enhance the company's online presence and reputation.

Content Creation :

- Produce high-quality written content, including articles, blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, and website copy.

- Ensure all content is consistent with the brand voice, style, and tone.

- Maintain an editorial calendar to manage content production and publication schedules.

Photography :

- Capture professional-grade photographs for use in marketing materials, social media, and website content.

- Edit and optimize images to ensure high visual standards.

- Maintain a well-organized digital library of images.

Public Relations :

- Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts, influencers, and industry professionals.

- Craft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.

- Coordinate media interviews and press events to maximize positive media coverage.

Branding :

- Uphold and enhance the company's brand identity through consistent messaging and visual standards.

- Create and manage branded marketing materials, including brochures, advertisements, and digital assets.

- Conduct market research to refine brand positioning and competitive differentiation.

Skills and Competencies :

- Creativity and innovative thinking.

- Attention to detail and organizational excellence.

- Analytical skills to interpret marketing data and optimize strategies.

- Knowledge of public relations and media engagement practices.

- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

- 3+ years of experience in marketing, content creation, photography, public relations, and branding.

- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

- Proficiency in photography and photo-editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).

- Experience with social media management and digital marketing tools.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
