Marketing Communications Manager/Copywriter - IT (3-5 yrs)

As the lead copywriter, you will be responsible for creating engaging content for our B2C and B2B audience in the USA market. As an edutech firm, our content is geared primarily towards school teachers and the parents of young kids in the USA.

You are a great fit for this role if you can develop creative concepts and craft compelling stories and messages for our brand and a variety of communications platforms. You should have a portfolio of professional work that demonstrates success working across diverse communications vehicles and creating messages based on input from multiple stakeholders. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

- Take ownership of the brand voice and content calendar. Develop creative communications strategies based on an array of public occasions and industry events, and transform those strategies into copy for all marketing vehicles

- Intimately understand the cultural and economic aspects of the US market - especially the schooling system and the parents of young kids. Use the marketing hooks to adapt the content for specific audience segments.

- Collaborate with marketing research team to monitor communications from competitors, media and industry influencers. to direct content roadmap for Splash Math

- Write engaging content with a focus on digital ads, emails, company website, app store descriptions, client presentations, and video scripts. Collaborate with the marketing, creative, product and sales teams to get inputs

- Work with online marketing team to create high-converting content for the app store, website landing pages, SEM, In-app notifications etc.

- Build company's social media channels into conversation platforms with our target audience - customer, prospects, media, and influencers

- Demonstrate consistency and clarity in showcasing Splash Math's brand voice across every touch point. Conduct rigorous quality checks on every piece of outbound content.

- Establish internal processes for all kinds of marketing content management

Qualifications:

- UG: Any specialization; Mass Communications, Journalism or an English major preferred

- Minimum 3-5 years of marketing communications and copywriting/content development experience

- Should be a team player who can make it happen in a fast-paced environment

- Should be able to think globally and understand local cultural practices of USA

- Ability to deliver under tight deadlines

- Excellent writing skills
