Marketing Associate - BFSI (3-5 yrs)
The position is a Marketing Associate role reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing. In this position, you'll be responsible for executing the overall marketing strategy for the firm.
The responsibilities include:
- Work with sales in using effective marketing campaigns to generate leads
- Support creation of marketing collateral including presentations, brochures, flyers, newsletters, case studies and whitepapers
- Simplify complex jargon to cull out best benefits and value propositions to create unique product and services positioning
- Keep all the marketing collaterals updated at all times
- Develop product literature for customers including user guides etc.
- Be responsible for leading the marketing research function to create various target lists with comprehensive research on specific targets and prospects
- Identify leads to add to a target list from multiple secondary research avenues
- Provide marketing support with regards to participation in various industry events
- Perform detailed competitive benchmarking exercise to map industry landscape and various players to act as a marketing intelligence input
- Curate industry research by following various media outlets to feed the PR and communication engine
- Be responsible for pre-sales activities including supporting the RFP process
- Planning and executing digital campaigns, as and when required
- Keep the CRM system updated with leads and activities to ensure effective tracking of all sales & marketing efforts
- Work with the design teams, both in-house and external, to come up with effective representations in various marketing collateral
- Ensure consistent branding of all collateral and messaging in-line with the overall company brand
Desired Candidate Profile:
Desired candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant B2B marketing experience in a fast-paced environment. An ideal candidate will have an MBA in Marketing with an exposure to Capital Markets (esp. Alternative Investments Industry) or BFSI industries.
Must have:
- A - Sharp Eye- to build sophisticated PowerPoint presentations with the ability to represent various concepts and ideas visually
- Excellent content development and content curation skills
- Attention to detail and a research oriented approach to marketing
- Skilful in analytics tools such as Google Analytics to analyse website traffic and create actionable items
- Significant experience in executing email marketing activity in a business-to-business environment, using CRM, email marketing platforms, automation platforms
- Impeccable communication skills both written and oral
- Stellar teamwork, interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment
Good to have:
- Experience in design and creative tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator etc. would be an added advantage
