Manager - Territory Sales - Solar/Energy (3-5 yrs)

Seeks a passionate, innovative, execution-master to join us as Territory Sales Manager for our mass distribution model. The successful candidate will lead the efforts in the assigned territory on two key result areas of Business Growth, first identifying,developing & driving channels of mass distribution and second driving strategic alliance & relationship management with these channel.
Responsibilities of Territory Sales Manager :
Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, this position will be a critical member of team and will help shape the company's revenue growth.
The responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to the following :
Identifying, developing and driving channels for mass distribution.
Driving Strategic Alliance and relationship management with these channels
Ensuring the desired product availability in the market
Ensuring that distributes/ retailers maintain adequate stocks of company products and merchandise as per norms.
Ensuring the availability of required manpower at distributorships as per plan and monitor their conduct/ behaviour
Building trust and relationship with distributors / retailers and company by clearing any doubts/confusions and providing solutions to any issue within reasonable time frame.
Working with circle marketing in management of schemes/ promotions/ contests being run to promote the company brand.
Ensuring flow of knowledge, skills and training from company to the dealer/ retailer staff to ensuring output as per targets. Assess training requirements on an ongoing basis. Coordinate with training content and service providers to implement training.
Establishing retail channel schemes at the zonal level based on corporate guidelines and with the approval of the circle/zone sales head.
Qualifications :
Ideal candidates must have at least 3-5 years of DTH television, solar home systems, and telecom or consumer electronics experience with a proven track record of building sales channel and managing key accounts.
Proven track record of leading projects from inception to go-to-market targeting rural or BOP markets.
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to use data to make decisions.
Must possess a strong code of ethics and values.
Demonstrated leadership, networking and negotiation skills.
Ability to travel (up to 70%) and work flexible hours.
Higher University degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics, Management.
MBA in Marketing is desirable
