Manager - Technical Sales - OEM (8-12 yrs)
- Responsible for Sales, Business development, Marketing, Key account management with thorough and deep Technical understanding of Ventilation systems in underground Mining and Tunneling industry.
- Successfully managing Key Accounts like Mine Owners, Mining contractors, EPC's & Technical Consultants.
- Ownership of Technical Sales processes including Project award, Sales, Invoicing, follow-up, relationship management and other sales related administrative topics.
- Developing strategic alliances & tie-ups with new business partners and markets, promoting the brand for stronger market penetration and achieving desired sales goals
- Growing business in terms of market share in the products and processes related to our business.
- Developing new Customers and business avenues with the upcoming models and offerings in our portfolio.
- Customer relationship management with customer's senior management including operational partners to generate more business from existing clients and achieving profitability and increase in the sales growth
- Resolving technical issues, providing appropriate solutions and after-sales services to customers quickly.
- Gathering Market intelligence and leads related to Underground Mining and Tunnelling in various infrastructure projects and explore further avenues for business opportunities and growth.
- Planning and creating competitive sales strategies to increase market share for the achievement of sales, revenue & profitability targets
- Analysis and identification of Technical Specifications and coordinating with the client and internal team for timely submission of techno-commercial proposals
- Managing the finalization of technical & commercial parameters, specifications and scope related to project Bill of Material & detailed breakdown of project cost.
- End-to-End Sales including Cost estimation, preparation of technical and commercial bids along-with deviations, negotiations and finalization of scope of work, project order finalization & receiving of LOI/PO to Handover to project execution team.
- Attending pre-bid meeting meetings and participating in techno-commercial discussions with Mine Owners/ EPC's/Technical Consultants/OEMs and negotiating the order finalizations
- Analysing and tracking the competitor positioning & activities and designing strategies to win the contracts.
- Managing the end-to-end Bid preparation and submission process for tenders of Ventilation systems of Mines (including Main Mine Ventilation) and Tunnelling projects.
- Coordinating within internal team, cross-functional teams in Europe for successful delivery of product.
- Maintaining a track of market dynamics and list of potential projects on Yearly pipeline.
- Maintaining and submitting to the Management various reports like MIS of bids submitted, orders won, lost analysis on a monthly basis including weekly CRM reports.
