Manager - Strategic Partnerships - Consulting Firm (5-8 yrs)
Job Summary: This position will be responsible for establishing and maintaining partnerships and relationships across .
These partnerships and relationships will be established and maintained across global community, which includes volunteers, high schools, higher education institutions and select educational service organizations. This position will be responsible for leading the expansion of global volunteer body, from 300 in 2020 to 1200 in 2022.
This position will work directly with the help the core leadership team with the overall partnerships- strategy, which remains focused on delivering value to the high school career and college counselors.
Functions, Duties, and Performance Responsibilities :
- Work with leadership to develop and implement a strategy to grow global community
- Ensure the mission of counseling in every school remains at the core of all partnership and relationship-building activities
- To brainstorm, plan, organize, and manage activities that help Movement to achieve its goals. To assist to execute events or implement programs closely aligned with partnerships strategy
- Develop and identify potential content and other partnerships for various Movement units
- Ensure smooth On-boarding and training of new volunteers
- Potential to lead of volunteers in various regions of the world to spread the mission of Movement
- Ensure that there is constant activity to keep all volunteers engaged
- Develops and fosters collaborative, productive and professional partnerships with key providers and internal stakeholders
- Facilitates executive-level Committees with Leadership to discuss performance success and roadblocks, roadmaps for new collaboration opportunities
- Develop contact and network in the different types/range of organizations, including embassies
- Work closely with other units of to ensure is represented and positioned appropriately
- Work to retain and increase current support from all partners
- Creating marketing and promotional activities with the Communications team
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing school, universities and sponsors and donors
- Create and maintain database of all partnership outreach efforts
- Ensure all partnerships are properly thanked and recognized for all their efforts and participation
- Maintain accurate and updated records of all contacts and pipeline of opportunities, highlighting all the prospecting, research, networking, etc.
- Conduct market research to identify potential strategic sponsors and partners based on overall values and fit with charter
- This role will require on-site campus visits, presentations to senior institutional officers, presentations at national/ regional level conferences, regular follow-up with clients onsite and through telecommunication etc.
- 5+ years of strong experience, including relationship maintenance, outreach, CSR and volunteer management. Knowledge of the international higher education key players and network shall be preferred.
