Manager - Software Sales (2-10 yrs)
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Software Sales Manager to lead our sales team in driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and promoting our software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software sales, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Lead and manage a team of software sales representatives
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Analyze sales performance and provide coaching and guidance to team members
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree. Additional degree/diploma in related field will be preferred
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience. Corporate/Enterprise/ Institutional sales exp preferred
- Proven sales leadership experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Strong understanding of software industry and trending technical or software solutions
- Ability to travel (as needed)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and above
- MBA/PGDBM or equivalent in marketing or sales preferred
- Technical awareness of software applications and solutions
