Manager - Social Media Marketing - Media Firm (1-3 yrs)
Responsibilities :
1. Strategy : Deliberate planning, strategy and goal setting.
2. Execution: Content management across multiple social media platforms.
- Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels and ads)
- Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising.
- Leverage the right tools to manage your content.
- Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing)
3. Community Management : Manage and overseeing social media activities, campaigns and engagement
4. Analysis : Regularly tracking multiple metrics through Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics etc to gauge performance, and then accordingly devise social media strategy
What we look for :
- 1-3 years of proven experience with social media to drive business performance (both organic and paid)
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
- Understanding of tools built to leverage social media strategy and performance
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
- Good understanding of social media KPIs
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Passion, energy and an entrepreneurial zeal. Ability to think on your toes.
- A can-do, problem solving attitude, one that is indispensable to a start-up environment.
