Manager - Social Media - Internet/Online (2-3 yrs)
Essential Job Duties :
- Manage all social media channels and responsible for growth on daily basis.
- Understand marketing objectives, plan and execute strategies on social media channels leading to growth
- Understand the goal, audience, and message of a campaign and create copy. Write advertising copy for use by publication or broadcast media to promote the platform on social media
- Come up with witty, funny, quirky and sensible one-liners and headliners (Eg: Buzzfeed/ 9Gag/ Zomato kind of lines)
- Should be able to plan and strategies campaigns and contests with definite RoI
- Build and implement social media programs that ensure appropriate messaging is executed online, to support corporate goals, incorporating Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube & Snapchat, etc.
- Monitor social media groups, trends, tools, and applications and recommend actions/next steps.
- Should be a team player and should coordinate with other teams
- Regularly report insights gained from social media monitoring to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and engage in brand-related online conversations.
- Use creative thinking and initiative to analyze site performance metrics and make recommendations on content, site design or features to improve the effectiveness of web content and/or applications.
- Organic ways are the most important to us & Paid marketing is our least priority.
- Online Advertising is a must skill (Facebook, Outbrain, Adgebra, Taboola, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Adwords and more)
Job Requirements :
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, tools, metrics and tracking
- Should know all about how social media platforms work
- Should be a growth hacker and find organic ways over paid ones
- Learns quickly and able to change in fast paced environment
- Ability to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines
- Web publishing experience
- Experience in ad agencies and creative agencies will be an added advantage
- Experience managing communications through website planning, management, and production
- 90% onsite, 10% travel
