Manager - Social Media (4-6 yrs)

Job Purpose

To strengthen brand presence and drive social media engagement, audience growth, and lead generation by executing strategic plans, ensuring consistent posting on social media pages, coordinating with internal teams, and optimizing content for maximum reach, visibility, and conversions in the travel and visa services sector.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary:

- Avoid reasoning and focus on delivering solutions to overcome challenges, ensuring smooth execution of social media plans.

- Ensure that monthly targets outlined in the business plan (such as engagement rates, follower growth, lead generation, and conversions) are met consistently through well-planned social media activities.

- Take ownership of all promised deliverables, ensuring content creation goals are met by actively coordinating with internal teams-including designers, video editors, the product team, and the sales team-to align social media efforts with the company's overall marketing and sales objectives.

- Develop and implement strategies to maximize organic reach for content published across social media platforms, ensuring increased visibility, engagement, and audience growth.

- Prepare reports and demonstrate progress in alignment with the business plan, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and social media efforts contribute to overall business

Secondary:

- Ensure that all content aligns with brand identity and compliance guidelines related to visa services and travel promotions.

- Identify and engage with influencers, travel bloggers, and brand ambassadors to expand reach and credibility.

- Organize and execute social media contests, giveaways, and interactive activities to boost engagement and reach.

- Monitor competitor activities and analyze performance trends to stay ahead in the travel and visa market.

- Optimize content for engagement by using appropriate hashtags, keywords, and platform-specific best practices.

- Ensure budgets are approved and utilized effectively in accordance with the business plan.

Qualification & Experience:

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in any field

- A Master's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related specialization is a plus but not mandatory.

- Certifications in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Content Strategy (e.g., HubSpot, Meta Blueprint) are advantageous.

Experience:

- 4+ years of experience in social media management, content marketing, or branding.

- Hands-on experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite).

- Proven track record of managing and growing social media accounts across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).

Skills:

Must Have:

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- A proactive problem-solving mindset-focused on solutions rather than reasoning.

- Ability to analyze trends and audience insights to improve content strategy.

- Strong project management skills to coordinate with multiple teams (designers, video editors, product team, sales team).

- Expertise in content creation, copywriting, and social media storytelling to drive engagement.

- Ability to plan and execute influencer marketing and brand collaborations

Good to Have:

- Knowledge of paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms is an advantage

- Proficiency in using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.) to track performance and optimize strategies.
