Job Description :
1. Develop creative and engaging social media strategies
2. Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels
3. Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools.
4. Create engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms
5. Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote your organisation and brand
6. Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
7. Undertake audience research
8. Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
9. Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights
10. Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
11. Should have good Content writing skills as he/she has to create content for every post and story on social media pages.
12. Analyse competitor activity
13. Recommend improvements to increase performance
14. Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement
15. Manage, motivate and coach junior staff such as social media executives or assistants
16. Manage a budget for social media activities
17. Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within your company (in-house roles)
18. Encourage collaboration across teams and departments
19. Handling queries asked on Instagram and facebook by the customers and address all the replies made on each post.
20. Must be able to boost creatives on social media groups like facebook and Instagram.
21. Must be flexible for timings as social media manager has to be socially active even after the working hours especially if there is a campaign deadline.
22. Must be able to cordinate with graphic designer which is outsourced.
23. Must be comfortable with work from home schedule if needed.
24. Should be able to plan social media calenders in advance.
