Role : Social Media Manager

Location : Chennai

Role Summary :

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's overall marketing objectives. They will oversee the planning, creation, and distribution of engaging content across multiple social media platforms to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and customer acquisition.

Key Responsibilities :

The key responsibilities of the Social Media Manager include, but are not limited to the following :


- Develop and implement a social media strategy that supports the company's marketing and business goals.


- Create a content calendar and oversee the production of high-quality, on-brand content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube)


- Monitor social media trends, algorithms, and best practices, and adapt the content strategy accordingly Manage and coordinate the work of the social media content creation team, including copywriters, designers, and videographers.


- Engage with the target audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and consistent manner.


- Analyze social media performance data and provide insights to optimize content, campaigns, and overall strategy.


- Collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure seamless integration of social media initiatives with other digital and traditional marketing efforts.


- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media tools and technologies, and recommend new platforms or features to enhance the company's social media presence.


- Measure and report on the success of social media campaigns and initiatives, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.


- Serve as the primary point of contact for external social media agencies or influencers.


Desired Competencies :

- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful social media strategies.


- Excellent understanding of various social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.


- Strong creative and copywriting skills to produce engaging and on-brand content.


- Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer)


- Ability to analyze social media metrics and translate data into actionable insights


- Strong project management and organizational skills to oversee multiple social media initiatives.


- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.


- Adaptability and the ability to stay up-to-date with the ever-evolving social media landscape

Profile Education :

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field Experience: 3-5 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing

Languages : Fluency in English is required; proficiency in local languages is an advantage

- Growth in social media followers, engagement, and brand reach increased website traffic and conversions from social media channels.
