We- re creating the next Uber like business which will solve a big problem in India. The business is being created by a proven result oriented team. The startup is currently in stealth launch mode & is looking for a senior business development Manager who can bring in the fast pace in the growth of the business
Role/Designation: Senior Business Development Manager
Job Description: We are looking for the Senior Business Development Manager, who will help in creating a strategic road map for the growth of Business using his/her superb selling skills.
Requirements:
- B.COM, BBA, Engineering/MBA from Tier- I Colleges only
- 3+ years of experience including min of 1 year of team management
- Strong interpersonal skills, an ability to eloquently convey complex ideas, and a good instinct for business.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, which require a practical numbers-oriented mind
- Ability to work in high-pressure roles where deadlines and bottom lines are the measure of success and heavy burdens of responsibility are the norm
- Good to have - Experience with a startup (e-commerce preferred) in setting up the function/ team
- A competent decision-maker with the ability to create and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan
- A self-motivated individual who derives their source of energy from people and ideas and knows how to get the best from the available resources
- Excellent judgment/decision making, conflict resolution, leadership, negotiation and motivational skills.
- Should have strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Responsibilities:
- Understanding sales and proficiency with networking is the key role.
- He should be highly number driven and end to end Profit and Loss responsibility
- Forge new alliances with various businesses & public & private institutions
- Ensure Sales targets are met on a monthly basis.
- Build a relationship with institutions to drive traffic to the company's app.
- This is an individual contribution role with scope for fast progression into people management roles.
- Build a pipeline of leads, approach them and pitch the product.
- Developing & ensuring execution of Operational Processes to efficiently operate and grow the business maintaining a strong relationship with partners and being the face of the Organization in the business community.
- Performing ad-hoc analysis and reports based on business needs.
- Acquiring Market Intelligence and supporting other functions (Ops, Business, Customer experience and Product team) with information
- Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively wherever required.
- Prepare Business Plan on business design, structure, process and operating plan and financial model.
Compensation: The compensation package will include 2 components:
- Equity Shares/eSOPs (which should be the biggest motivation)
- Startup Salary (to cover your current expenses comfortably)
Company Profile: We are a Validation Stage startup in the daily commute technology space. Currently, we are running pilots for our key MVPs to find Product-Market Fit.
