Manager/Senior Manager - Sales - Automotive/Auto Component (8-10 yrs)
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Indian customers specially Automotive, Battery and Battery Charger OEMs/ their suppliers to understand their requirement and provide the suitable solution.
- Work effectively with International Business Unit Managers to develop regional and territory specific marketing plans
- Identify and develop sales channels appropriate to achieving our international objectives through territory specific plans
- Identify new customers and market areas and develop these international prospects to their maximum potential
- Extend the company's portfolio of products by identifying international market gaps and recommending new products and services as appropriate
- Identify, recommend and implement appropriate selling and marketing techniques to achieve sales targets
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with distributors in assigned regional territories.
- Prepare accurate reports of sales forecasts, selling activities, customer activities and developments, quotations, orders and response to promotions etc to deadlines and when requested.
- Attend trade shows and seminars, organise equipment and materials to promote products to new and current customers
- Maintain up to date and comprehensive current knowledge of market requirements, and comprehensive knowledge of the company's products to provide competitive solutions and service to retain customers and maximise sales
- Prepare draft annual budgets for the region and implement them in agreement with the GM - India
- Review regional performance in relation to budget on a monthly basis, report and re-forecast as necessary
- Planning cost and time for effective travel, maximising the spend value, and minimising the carbon footprint.
- Get the complete technical training for Organization product range
Industry and product experience :
Selling some products to Automotive- E&E Division/E Vehicle OEMs/ Battery/Battery Charger OEMs OR with some supplier firm of these companies.
Education / Qualifications :
MBA on Sales & Marketing
Work Experience
- 8-10 year's Sales experience and Knowledge of selling direct B2B and through distributors
- Knowledge of working with Automotive giants OR with their tier 1/2/3 suppliers -
- Commercial and in-depth understanding of business operation and processes.
- Excellent communication skills with peers, across the business as a whole and with stakeholders.
