Manager/Senior Manager - Market Development - BFSI (2-5 yrs)
The successful candidate will :
- Should be a person with excellent communication skills as she or he has to develop relationships with the investment community and policy makers along with different analysts and other professionals.
- She or he should additionally have excellent presentation, analytical and problem solving skills and should be detail oriented.
- Ability to analyze, understand and explain financial statements, capital markets and investor interest is essential. She or he should also be a constant learner, proactive, flexible and with team management skills.
Additionally :
- Be responsible for list management for marketing campaigns, outreach tours and events.
- Develop and maintain presentation overviews and pitch books.
- Run regular holdings and interaction reports for key accounts and feedback to the team and senior management.
- Contribute generally to implementation of strategy for the Market Development team.
General responsibilities will include :
- Using a variety of sources, collate information to build profiles of key buy-side accounts across market sectors and keep them up to date.
- Preparing detailed agendas and background material ahead of outreach meetings and tours.
Marketing Materials:
- Create and update the marketing packet, Presentation, factsheets, track records, etc.
- Compile and update historical client communication - newsletters, white papers, reports etc.
- Create and maintain a list of anticipated questions and most appropriate responses at all times.
- Ensure consistent branding in internal and external communications - Logo, folders, etc.
- Create a milestone calendar based on our experiences and work with the process to minimise surprises.
- Create and maintain distribution lists for Quarterly reports, statements etc. Maintain updated distribution lists and update the do not solicit/do not call/do not mail lists and the - unreachables - list (bouncebacks, out of office, re -directs etc.).
- Generate post communication reports on efficiency and effectiveness (reached, responses, unsubscribes etc.).
- Ensure communication sent to clients by anyone related to the agency - the team, analyst, etc. follows internal policies and standards.
- Client Visits (both onsite and client office) Prep the team prior to the client visits - background, focus areas, communication style, purpose etc.
- Interact with investors by sending research, following up on market events, invite to road shows & follow up on requests.
- Writing marketing materials, pitch books and presentations with guidance of senior management.
- Keeping up to date with market issues and proactively identifying areas of opportunity.
- Manage Events calendar with lists of invitees for hosted client events, attending the events on the day as required and following up afterwards with any resulting enquiries for the Market Development Team.
- Analysing readership of BWR research and following-up new research trials for strategic investor contacts.
- Entering information into the database, maintaining lists for a variety of outreach types and monitoring the investor portfolio information.
- Analysing users of BWR research with a view to developing relationships with new contacts ensuring consistency in approach across India in liaison with local branch office representatives and other asset class representatives.
