Manager - Search Engine Optimization - Media (5-9 yrs)
1. The ideal candidate will analyze, review, and implement changes to websites so they are optimized for search engines.
2. Develop and execute an end to end digital marketing strategy for our website to generate demand and website traffic.
3. Collaborate with editorial, product marketing, to deliver cross functional projects
4. Develop creative strategies to drive brand awareness using paid and organic channels
5. Design, deliver and optimize highly effective email marketing campaigns that drive conversions.
6. Drive an effective organic SEO/SEM program, maximising domain and page authority to rank high in search activity including backlinking activities.
7. Design and manage paid marketing campaigns across search, social and others.
8. Work on google adsense to generate revenue for the website
9. Measure the performance of all digital marketing activities and build dynamic reports for all stakeholders.
10. Plan and run multivariate experiments and advanced optimization and conversion tests to ensure that all activities are maximizing ROI.
11. Prior experience in a similar role as well as experience building effective multi-channel marketing strategies, including affiliate marketing, PPC, SEO, social media, and other digital channels.
12. Knowledge of technical SEO (XML sitemaps, 301-redirects, canonical tags, URL structures, website hierarchy)
13. Knowledge of On-page SEO (meta-tag optimization, content optimization on product and category pages, blog content strategy)
14. Ability to guide content writers to create compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions
15. Knowledge of off-page strategy (deciding content topics, prioritizing categories for backlinks, analysis of off-page domains)
16. Ability to work independently while interacting with editorial and tech teams for SEO tasks
17. Proven SEO experience
18. Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing.
19. Strong analytical skills
20. Understanding of all search engines and functions as well as marketing
21. Excellent Communication skills
22. Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word
23. Google ad sense experience
24. PPC/FB Advertising experience
25. Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
26. Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations & Search Ignite)
