As the School Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the conception and implementation of the business development strategy, to sell the company products to schools in the region.
What you will do:
- Developing business opportunities by identifying prospect schools and evaluating their position in industry
- Prospecting relentlessly to build pipeline and building strong personal relationships with prospect schools
- Reaching out to prospective schools through various lead sources like references, channel etc., building a pipeline and signing them up
- Retaining all existing schools and upgrading the value of business within the portfolio
- Being the single point of contact for the school and coordinating internally with operations, product specialists and product team to ensure complete and efficient implementation
- Maintaining relationship with clients by providing support, information and guidance
- Tracking and reporting sales progress
- Staying involved in industry events
- Creating reliable forecasts and be completely transparent with management on the pipeline status
- Preparing and leading client presentations
- Developing and executing on a strategic plan for the region and documenting and distributing competitive information
- Managing end-to-end client relationship including pitching, negotiation, contracting, billing/ invoicing, and payment collection, result tracking and troubleshooting
Candidate Profile :
- Demonstrable industry experience of 5 - 7 years in School Sales
- Should have good network / connections with schools
- Should be number driven
- Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making and persuade others
- Ability to manage a large number of prospect situations simultaneously while positioning company products against direct and indirect competitors
- Demonstrated ability to find, manage and close high-level business in an evangelist sales environment
- Powerful organization skills, ability to manage teams, build relationships, and negotiate effectively
- Excellent Communication Skills
