Manager - Sales - Travel Trade Vertical - Hospitality (5-10 yrs)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our Travel Trade sales efforts. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, enhancing brand visibility, and forging strong partnerships with travel agents and tour operators.

Experience - 5 to 10 yrs of experience in travel sales

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership :

- Develop and implement a comprehensive Travel Trade sales strategy aligned with the hotel's overall business objectives.

- Identify and target key travel agents and tour operators.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the travel industry.

- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and challenges.

Sales Team Management :

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing Travel Trade sales team.

- Set clear sales goals and performance metrics.

- Provide regular training and coaching to enhance team skills and knowledge.

- Monitor team performance and take corrective action as needed.

Business Development :

- Actively seek out new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and industry events.

- Conduct sales presentations and site inspections to travel agents and tour operators.

- Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize revenue and profitability.

- Develop and implement effective sales campaigns and promotions.

Client Relationship Management :

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential travel partners.

- Proactively address client needs and concerns.

- Resolve client issues in a timely and efficient manner.

- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.

Revenue Management :

- Analyze historical data and market trends to optimize pricing and yield management strategies.

- Monitor revenue performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Implement effective sales and marketing campaigns to drive revenue growth.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Proven track record in Travel Trade sales within the hospitality industry.

- Strong understanding of the travel industry, including distribution channels and booking platforms.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.


- Proficiency in CRM and sales management software.

- A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
